"Prom's on Saturday," Josh said, smiling. "Do we need to start giving the junior class planners oxygen yet?"

He linked his hands behind his head. "Professors Tick, Harrington, and Camulus have agreed to help me chaperone." He pointed at Alanna, Parker, and Elizabeth. "Want to give us an update on what we should be expecting? Or any help you need?"

He spun in his chair. "Anything else we need to discuss? The coffee for finals thing seems to be taken care of. And another game night's in the works, right?"

Parker came back in looking relaxed, guilty, and a little sneaky. "Like I said. Everything's okay."

"Thankfully, yes." Parker mentally apologized to whoever had detention, but figured with Rory's mom running it, they wouldn't have suffered much anyway. "We're good to go tomorrow."
