There was a large TV set up on one side of the library when Belle arrived for her shift. That would have been fine but the small crowd of gremlins seated in front of it watching a movie had her slightly nervous.

"I won't bother you if you don't bother me, " she told them. "I'll just stay over here. "

One gremlin turned and shushed her, very loudly. Belle just sighed. Perhaps she'd read at the desk today.
