Yes, the heroism thing.

"So, I did my first foray into fighting bad guys--though it was a guy on stilts for some unknown reason--and came across the dilemma of what do you do after? Are you working with the police or not? What do you think is the best way to handle the whole after thing?"

Vi shrugged. "Back home we used to deal with problems ourselves."

But that only worked until someone decided to stab you in the back.

"I mean...usually by that point all the demons are dead?" Gray said. "So we just go home. Or...clean up the mess." But if they had to do that part Gray usually just fell asleep.

"Are the police to be trusted?" Belle asked. There were members of her father's guard she would have trusted but others she wouldn't. It seemed like a reasonable question.
