Numerous pens, paints, glitter, brushes and other bits and pieces are set out the front.

"Today kids, we'll be painting backdrops and decorations for prom. The theme is Lost Cities and I have a list for you to work from. There's pictures and other information in each backdrop's area."

Parker's painted the backdrop midnight blue with a starry desert sky. Minarets and towers are slowing taking shape, as well as silk veils being attached at the corners.

She might be looking anxious about everyone else's backdrops too.

Isabel's here with glue and silver and gold glitter making sure everything sparkles tastefully.

"Relax, it's going to look fine."

Xander tapped Isabel on the shoulder. The crook of his other arm was full of tubes of glitter-glue and wee sticks for making flags, yes, almost like he was heading for someplace that might have some castle battlements to fly them from.

"Hey you. Got a question."

"Hey you, I have an answer," she grinned. "What's up?"

"Think you could stand to put up with me for another month or three after graduation? Unless they have us all living in trees this summer..."

"You're going to stay? Really? That's so great!" Isabel squeed as dropped the glitter and hugged him. "I was starting to get depressed thinking about you leaving in a few weeks."

Xander smiled. "For the summer, yeah, I think so. Home'll still be there in the fall, and it'd be kind of a shame to miss out on..." He snickered. "Whatever it is we're doing for this camp thing that I so totally haven't even checked out yet."

Isabel snickered as well. "Yup, camp. That's certainly a good reason to stay. I'm sure it has nothing to do with other people staying as well. Not that I'm complaining or anything. Far from it, I really am thrilled you're staying."

"Abslutely nothing to do with certain people staying who don't actually know I'm staying yet, nope." Xander grinned and jerked a tube of glitter paint in that direction. "I should... probably go mention that, though. Just, y'know. In passing. For reference."

"You should. Absolutely," she smiled. "He's going to be just as thrilled I'm sure."

"Well...it's possible he won't break out the ~~emo icons~~ Evanescence CDs and retreat into his room for a week, yeah." Xander grinned and gave her a wave before heading towards Camelot.

Parker rolls her eyes at herself. "Sure. Right. Great." She lets out a deep breath. "Okay, no one expects me to bring the Lost Cities here, right? And at least Anakin came through and the holograms will be ready." She sighed, then brightened. "Hey, did you decide on a dress? I didn't get to see what you bought last night."

"Honestly? I think everyone here will be satisfied with good music and a good time. And if they're not," Isabel grinned, "We'll have to have some boykissy happen to distract them. It will be fine." She spread some glue along the blue sky creating the effect of a swirl of the Milky Way. "I did. It's everything I want, red, backless, a nice leg slit, but still not trampy."

Parker snickered. "Right. Anakin and Angel have to do that soon anyway, why not get in some practice? And ooo, sounds great. I still haven't decided whether to go in red or black at this point." She scowled. "I'd ask Jarod, but I don't want him thinking his opinion is the deciding factor."

"They do?" Isabel giggled. "Why? And has anyone told them that?" She stepped back and studied Parker. "You could pull off either color really well. So it's really a question of style. What do they look like? Is one the black one you showed me yesterday?"

"For fighting. Rory pouted and badgered and used logic on Anakin, Callisto threatened Angel, and thus they are forced to 'kiss and make up'. That'll teach them to try to out-testosterone each other." Parker grinned. "One is that black one, they both have leg-slits and are sleeveless, but the red has more skin showing, and is more complicated. I can't decide if the red is too much for a Prom, or if hair up and a wrap will tone down the skin factor."

"Oh that will definitely be fun to see," she grinned. "Hopefully they'll learn their lesson. You could pull off complicated, you've got the maturity and the sophistication for it. Of course you might leave Jarod speechless all night."

"And the red dress pulls ahead in the Prom race again...." Parker snickered. "I have no idea when Braid-boy and Brood-boy are kissing, but I plan on being there to mock. And head-thwap, if necessary." She took a step back from the backdrop, and her shoulders relaxed. "It does look good, doesn't it? And Jake's doing great with Hamunptra. That only leaves five other things to stress about."

"No stressing. It's not good for you." Isabel grinned wickedly, "I'll tell Jarod!" She looked around the room as well, "It all looks wonderful. Even Angel's volcano. So relax. Besides, if anything is glaringly wrong tomorrow night, I can try and fix it for you."

"You would? God, you rock." Parker's shoulders slumped in relief. "Right. Backdrops. DVD players. Set-up tomorrow... And no! No telling Jarod!" She grumbled under her breath, but looked amused. "Nag, nag, nag from him, no, I don't need that."

"I've got skillz, I might as well use them," she said and then she giggled. "I'll tell Jarod, the ultimate blackmail tool. I'll have to keep that in mind."

Parker looked appalled. "Okay, you rock, but you're evil. Jeeez."

"That's what they tell me. But I'll only use it if it's a dire situation," she promised. The veils where a little bland so Isabel carefully applied just a bit of glitter to them for added sparkle. "So I have a question."

Parker admired the glitter effect, then put her paintbrush down. "Sure. Shoot."
