Psych 101 & Jung (Thursday, 4/20/2006, 5th & 7th Periods)

"Prom is in two days. Finals are coming up soon. You guys all should have a pretty good idea of what your final projects are. So for the entire afternoon, you can either talk about or work on your projects, or talk about prom. In a psychological context, of course. Doesn't have to be positive either, not if you don't want it to be."

Anakin blinked. "You can't possibly be that bad. I mean -" his hands flailed, " - Gamorreans. With the tusks, and the drool, and the weighing more than a hundred kilos."

He looked Angel up and down. "Well, maybe...but I don't see it."

"Fast dancing?" Angel nodded. "I suck."

Jenny had been to the spring dance after Buffy'd killed the Master.

She might've seen Angel dance then. Or maybe not.

She just smiled and kept her mouth shut about it.

"S'okay," Rory said, looking up from her work. "Me too. Slow-dancing's more fun anyway."

"Slow dancing I can handle," Angel said. "If there's gotta be dancing, I'm for that."

"Do you have a tux yet?" Rory asked. "Or are you going with something less traditional."

"Already have the tux," Angel said. "What about you? Got your dress yet?"

"Yup," Rory replied. "It arrived the other day. Going shopping for shoes and accessories this afternoon, yay."

Anakin? Totally not eavesdropping. Really.

"What color'd you pick?"

"It's silvery, kind of," Rory said. "Figured I should work with the pale thing instead of trying to counteract it."

"Silver'd go well with your hair," Angel said.

"I almost went with blue, because of my eyes," Rory continued. "But silver's easier to match flowers to and stuff."

Yep, definitely not glancing over at Anakin. Really.

"It's a classic," Angel said. "You can't go wrong with silver. Strapless?"

"Halter," Rory said. "And it has a little flowy train, kind of."

"Hair up or down?"

"Up, definitely."

Angel nodded. "Could do that thing where you have a few strands curling around your face."

"Ooh," Rory said thoughtfully. "I like that."

"Depends on the dress," Angel said. "But it could work."

"Well, the dress is all flowy," Rory said. "So maybe hair should stay simple."

She chewed thoughtfully on her pen, considering possibilities.

"Hmm, good point," Angel said. "You wouldn't want to compete."

"Or like, be too busy, ensemble-wise," Rory pointed out.

"Going simple with the jewelry, I assume?"

"Keeping it all very light, yeah. Silvery necklace, I think, and weetiny earrings of some sort."
