Fight Stuff- Monday- 3rd period

Class today met in the gym. Yeah hey, remember the gym?

"Today we're going to do something a little different," Jaina told the class. "I want you to practice against the punching bags and dummies today, because next week I'm going to have you try some hand to hand sparring. So today will be practice, and I'll be here to show you what to do and help you not break a thumb trying to punch."

Boy, Graham was really glad that Jaina said something about not breaking your thumb trying to punch things in the narrative, because there was a good chance, if she hadn't? Graham very well could have.

Even with safety in mind, though, it was very clear that Graham was definitely either a weapons fighter or the type of fighter who definitely used his wits over his fists, but the spirit was there, even if the punching bag was getting little more than a nice light knuckle massage more than a full on beating.

Kurt had some hand-to-hand training but a lot of it did usually involve porting around to get the best angle of attack. He wasn't sure if porting would be allowed so he was trying to go at this as normally s possible, which proved to be a bit more difficult than he had expected.

Guillermo had never done anything like this before so he was a little bit clumsy with his punches but after a while he did start to get the hang of it.
