"Hello. We have a very special speaker today, someone who has been among you for the last four months. Please welcome Mr. Nielson and his human companion, Pippi Longstocking. You may ask him questions to practice your Squirrel Monkey vocabulary."

"Remember your final project proposals are due in one week."

"About a month's worth, perhaps a few more," Dream agreed. "Are you back for the term, or do you simply wish to officially withdraw?"

Cordelia looked mildly worried. "Well, I am back for the term. But do you think there is any way I could possibly catch up on everything I've missed?"

Dream sighed. "In truth? No. But as far as making up the credit goes, you may turn in a handwavy second final project, recording your conversation with any creature whose language you learned in class. It will be due May 4, with the other final. Shall that do?"

Cordelia beamed. She honestly thought she might hug the scary goth guy. "Yes, that will do. Thank you so much, Professor. I appreciate it."
