Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day

Despite the fact that this picnic was celebrating the new fall semester, it was still technically summer, and the weather was making that clear. It was sunny, with not a cloud in the sky, and the temperature was seasonably toasty.

With not a minute to spare, the food was ready, the tables and chairs had been spread across the lawn with just the right amount of glitter on them, and everything was ready to welcome a new batch of folks to the island!

"To an extent," Anakin said. "I think her friends wouldn't let her go alone. She wasn't pleased about it."

"Depending on their training, it has its pros and cons," Jaina said. "Help until that point isn't terrible, though, so that's good."

He felt exactly the same when Jaina had gone after Jacen.

"She's a taller, blonder Padmé," Anakin said, pointing Jane out.

They'd had so long without people from their timeline that she was out of practice. She'd never seen her dead grandma's doppelgänger coming.

Anakin took a deep breath and held it, then blew it out and nodded. "Yes. Probably not today, though."

"It'd be a shock if you were today," Jaina said, but went in for a hug.

"It was not planned, but apparently. If you want to come in after my class that's apparently called Fighting Stuff, feel free," she said.

She couldn't deny that it was very appropriate for her.

"Considering we just found out about this yesterday, that's going to be my first class now, yes," she said.
