Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day

Despite the fact that this picnic was celebrating the new fall semester, it was still technically summer, and the weather was making that clear. It was sunny, with not a cloud in the sky, and the temperature was seasonably toasty.

With not a minute to spare, the food was ready, the tables and chairs had been spread across the lawn with just the right amount of glitter on them, and everything was ready to welcome a new batch of folks to the island!

She would be zero for two on that, but Raiden would probably be easy to persuade to lose his shirt. Gray pointed him out as, "Over there, with the baseball cap?" It was a thing. "And the two plates of just desserts. The big guy." The really big guy. "That's Raiden."

The baseball cap plus the size definitely helped, and Libby was able to pick him out in no time after that and she grinned. "I'll have to go say hi at some point," she decided. "But that's got to be exciting, right, having your brother here now, too?"

There was a pause, since Libby couldn't say she'd be very excited if one of her brothers were to show up, but things were a bit...complicated there. Well, Val would be fine. Val would probably actually love it, but Just...

"Did you know he was coming?" she asked. That would probably make a big difference, in the way Gray felt about it, maybe.

"...I found out on Wednesday. He wanted it to be a surprise. It's sort of...it's nice, I guess, but I don't need a babysitter." Said the guy who regularly fell asleep during dangerous situations. Or situations that had just become dangerous because he was asleep. "He's going to run the pizza place, he says, but he's never run a restaurant before. Don't get me wrong. Ray makes amazing pizza. And he'll probably give you free pizza because you're my friend. Anyway. It's fine. What have you been up to? I feel like I haven't seen you in a while!"
