Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day

Despite the fact that this picnic was celebrating the new fall semester, it was still technically summer, and the weather was making that clear. It was sunny, with not a cloud in the sky, and the temperature was seasonably toasty.

With not a minute to spare, the food was ready, the tables and chairs had been spread across the lawn with just the right amount of glitter on them, and everything was ready to welcome a new batch of folks to the island!

Allie didn't know what was happening and she was trying to roll with it as best as possible. For now that meant getting food (and secreting some away in case she was able to get back to Will today) and finding a spot to sit and regroup.

And stripping down to her t-shirt because she was dressed for December in Connecticut and that sucked right now.

It was sort of nice though to be able to get out the phone she'd had on her and actually get news from outside, though...

"It's 2022?"

"Probably?" Charlie said as she was walking by. "Though given this place anything is possible."

"Unless you've got a portal back to my home and year, I think I'm beyond help," Allie sighed.

"Ummm..." She actually just might, but the Aunties would kill her and it was still her first day. Not a portal per se, but, yeah.

Still discretion and all that.

"I'm sorry," Charlie said. "It does seem like a really cool, place, though?"
