Flight and Flying- Tuesday

The Danger Shop was a wide open field with plenty of hot air balloons blown up and ready to go. It probably looked really cool! All of this was probably gonna at least look cool!

"Sometimes, things don't go to plan," Jaina told them. "Which is why you're going to be in hot air balloons today. These are giant balloons with a basket for people that aren't steered as much as they're directed by the wind. You don't really know where you're going to land when you set out. So I'm going to show you how to work this thing and then you're going to take it up and test how well you do at dealing with unpredictable situations."

You know, this "going wherever the wind takes you" thing was right up Steph's alley, and ordinarily she'd be all about this. It wasn't even that she wasn't all about it now, just that her heart wasn't really in it.

Still, there was something to be said for the whole experience, especially with the surprise winds and unpredictability, and you know? For a little while she actually did feel better.

Balloons were entirely new to Stark but he was enjoying the view, though he wasn't particularly enjoying the wind and the unpredictability of it all. But it was a good way to keep from thinking about anything else!

Goose had never flown a hot air balloon before, he did keep trying to see if it was possible for it to move quickly but that only seemed to happen when there were bursts of wind that he couldn't predict.
