Summertime Arts and Crafts!, Tuesday, Fourth Period [08/02].

The only thing lingering for Sidon from the weekend was just that steady feeling of disappointment that there had been no Vette, but he'd already known there wouldn't be, so it was an odd sort of....expected disappointment, one that he'd been used to for more than thirty years already, what was an extra twenty more, especially to a Zora?

And you certainly wouldn't know it by looking at him that Tuesday, in their little arts and crafts pavilion that he set up on the beach every week, where all the tables and supplies awaited the students to come and make yet another fantastic summertime craft.

"Hello, everyone!" Sidon greeted them with his usual open arm gesture. "And welcome back! Today, I was thinking we could all embark on creating something that might sound, at first, rather anachronistic for a summertime art or craft, but snow globes can truly be for any season! In fact, feel free to make it for whatever season you'd like, although it would be lean a bit toward summer. There are plenty of options, of course. Here! Let me show you how!"

And, with that, he did just that, diving right into the instructions and demonstration.

Graham was, admittedly, still in kind of a daze over the weekend. Look, it was kind of a big deal! He figured he'd always be a knight, sure, it was just in his blood, but a king? That certainly wasn't! And even though most of the details were pretty fuzzy by now, that one fact really stood out over it all and left him daydreaming while idly trying to put together a snow globe.

Which definitely meant he was making a pretty damp mess of it all, especially when it came to screwing on the lid and flipping it over.

Naturally, Sakaki's first inclination was to try to make a snow globe that involved cats, but she instantly regretted it and felt absolutely terrible because then all she could think about were cats underwater, which would be terrible.

Unless they were cat-fish!

But not like actual catfish, but fish with cat faces, and that was how we wound up with Sakaki, focused intently on her work, as she tried to figure out how to put cat faces and cat ears and maybe even whiskers on some fish.

Libby was feeling glad that she actually had something to do today other than just sort of sit around and mope about yet another example of her apparent lack of future and trying to convince herself that maybe there were just too many paths at this point to really know which one she might be likely to take. She'd been thinking about it a lot, actually, too much, probably, and praying about it, and, right now, she was just glad that she could focus instead on making her snowglobe, and doing what she could to make it pretty and nice and maybe keep on her bedside tables because she really didn't have much by way of decoration, it seems like it could be a good start.

She was working with a lot of flowers, mostly, found a little rabbit that reminded her of Ziggy that was going to be the center piece, and now she realized she wasn't probably going to keep it on her table after all, but definitely give it to Zo.

Even though talking to Marc yesterday had helped, Liz was still feeling tired and miserable and after the weekend she was really missing Prompto even more. At least she had stopped crying for the moment at least.

She tried to stay focused on the activity, she was making her snow globe more winter based since winter was her favourite season and she also thought it was quite fitting since her daughter was due in February and it would be a nice keepsake for her nursery.

Vi mostly just poked at the snow globe parts with a marked lack of enthusiasm today instead of actually trying to put anything together.

The weekend had been.... interesting.... for Dwight. If by interesting someone meant totally depressing. So it turned out, he had gone back and gotten stuck in Haven again, and had been there for some time. Alone. No family. No friends.

As he wrestled with the memories of the weekend and the rolling emotions that came with them, Dwight knew one thing for sure. He did NOT want THAT future and he was going to do all he could to make sure that he didn't get stuck with that one 20 years down the road.

All this thinking meant he was a bit distracted by the snow globe making process but he didn't think the end result was all that bad really.

Gray was running low on energy, which meant that he wasn't really making progress on his snow globe so much as shifting containers of glitter back and forth to watch them sparkle.
