Well, that had sure been a weekend, which could explain why Steve and Tony were standing so close together that their shoulders brushed. And all of the pillow forts scattered throughout the space.

"Welcome back to paintball," Steve said with a smile. "I'm guessing some of you might need to work things out today."

"Or some time to hide a bit if that's how things went," Tony added. It was how things went for them at least.

Steve would much rather still be hiding, honestly. "The paintball guns are in their usual places and we also have non-human targets in the back if you'e prefer to do that."

"Call this a breather class," Tony suggested. "It'll let you be prepared for next week."

Stark didn't have anything new to work out from this weekend, at least. And this felt like it might be a trap. He was going to take up residence in a pillow fort anyway because it looked cozy. With a paintball gun, of course. Just in case.

Anakin had spent the weekend taking Juliet to space, and so he was rather confused about the...everything.

He had a gun and was looking for Stark because of course he was.

Stark was lounging safely inside a very cozy pillow fort, thank you. He did have his gun loosely in hand ready to aim at the entrance if necessary.

But Anakin could find him. Anakin always could. Anakin was creepy that way.

"It seemed like a good place to sit," Stark said warily, hand tightening on the paintball gun. "Very comfortable."

Anakin didn't have to be a Jedi to notice how uncomfortable certain people were today, but the feelings they were throwing off was definitely not helping. "I feel like I missed something by being gone this weekend."

He'd gotten a break after the koala incident, apparently.

Prefer was maybe not the word choice Rosa would have used, but the only thing worse than having to deal with Fandom bullshit like last weekend was having your Fandom bullshit entirely handwaved because someone had been too lazy to bother finding good icons, and therefore some perfectly solid storytelling regarding how annoying it is that some people didn't age while others definitely were marching closer to their own inevitable mortality was completely left to the wayside.

So, yeah, Rosa actually did have some things she wanted to work right now, although you wouldn't have known it from the weekend, and, truth be told, taking it out on her fellow paintballers would just be cruel, even for her.

So target practice it was.

Summer had, admittedly, had a lot of trouble figuring out when she'd even managed to smoke enough weed to make her feel like she'd missed out on an entire weekend, and was starting to get the feeling that she was probably better off just not really thinking about it too hard.

Especially when words like work things out or hide for a bit sparked her curiosity just a bit too much.

So, for the sake of....everything, she assumed, she was just giving everyone a bit of a weird, slightly confused look before she shrugged, grabbed a gun, and went to work on honing her aim despite already being stupid good at it without even having to try very hard.

Had something happened this weekend? Lana hadn't gotten to meet any of the people she'd hoped would come back, but otherwise she was perfectly fine.

But whatever, clearly reunions were harder on some than on others. She could do target practice.

Goose was definitely focusing on target practice and not thinking at all about a future where he and Ignis were no longer together.

Even though he was hitting the targets, he was getting no joy from doing so, it was one of those rare occasions where target practice wasn't helping him at all.
