Journalistic Integrity (Wednesday, April 19 - 6th period)

On their desks, students will find a copy of an article.

"Do you think is an ethical piece of media?" Rita said thoughtfully from the head of the classroom. "Obviously, it's satirical. But what if someone were to read this as a serious piece of news? Could there be consequences from that?"

[OOC: So, here's the deal on those interview things. You have until SATURDAY to give me a subject, where you might be going, and why you're interviewing them in the comments here. And thanks to the magic of Fandom, you know you guys can leave and come back on the same afternoon, and go...pretty much anywhere, right? Preplay is love for that kind of thing.]

Barbossa laughed for a very long time as he read the article. "These be my kind o' people," he said, wiping tears from his eyes. "And if someone be thinkin' it be real? They be stupid. I be not holdin' meself responsible fer the rampant stupidity o' the rest o' humanity."
