Steve was back from his husband-assisted birthday off and was looking rested and relaxed. And slightly devious. "We're keeping the pockets of anti-gravity," he said. "You're advanced enough to work around it."

"He's upset he missed out on it last week," Tony whispered helpfully.

"Only a little bit," Steve admitted, laughing. "It sounded swell."

"We're also adding paint 'grenades' for you to try out along with the anti-gravity fields," Tony added.

Steve was doing an amazing impression of an excited golden retriever right now. "No powers, please. Have fun!"

Mwahaha.

The course is back in the Danger Shop, the pockets of anti-gravity are moddable for your own personal entertainment, as are the caches of paint grenades. You also have the normal paintball guns and safety equipment/clothing.

Had Anakin been to his office yet? Stark's fate in today's paintball might depend on it. Unless Summer got to him first.

He was heading for cover immediately and hoping for the best. Of course there were some anti gravity bits to contend with...

Anakin had been to his office, which was why his face was slightly thunderous. "Stark!"

Oh dear.

"Hello, Anakin."

No, Stark was not planning on moving from his decently protected (he hoped) spot. Why do you ask?

"I went to my office, Stark," Anakin said, giving the impression he was stalking with a cape without actually wearing his cape.

"Don't you usually go to your office?" Stark asked, trying very hard to sound innocent.

"Why would you need to announce that?"

"There aren't generally surprises waiting for me there. Stark."

"I didn't put anything in your office."

That was 100% true!

Stark was peering through a tiny crack in his cover. He was not lifting his head.

Anakin huffed. "Really."

"I didn't go inside," Stark insisted. "My office just happens to be near yours."

"You spend a lot of time in your office?" Anakin asked dryly.

"Occasionally. But I wasn't there today either."

Again, totally a true statement!

"How about last week?" Anakin asked, tossing a paint grenade to drive Stark out of hiding.

"I put some extra shirts in my office," Stark agreed shortly before yelping in dismay and jumping up and trying to dodge the paint grenade.

Tony was ready for this. He was going to have so much fun watching Steve try it out and...

Maybe he should have remembered there was another Steve there.

Another Steve who loved grenades, even.

He'd found one already, pulled the pin and tossed it right at Tony's chest.

"Oh, c'mon!" He didn't even get to try it out!

This time.

"Can't play favorites just because you're the instructor," Steve said, smirking. "You were exposed."

Ha, Steve caught you monologuing, McGarrett!

He came in behind him and gave Tony a tiny grin.

Tony blew him a kiss for that. "Have fun, sweetheart!"

Steve looked confused. "Why are you calling me sweetheart?" he asked, turning around and seeing Steve right behind him.

"Shit."

"Language," Steve scolded, shooting him five times. And then adding a grenade for good measure.

Summer was a very simple woman to make happy sometimes. You give her a paintball gun. You give her anti-grav pockets, you give her paint grenades....you give her life! You better believe she was planning on making the most of it, too, some of the usual suspects in her sights as she rushed around maybe a bit more than strictly necessary, just to hit those anti-grav spots to toss a few grenades strictly for the coolness factor.

And if that was what did her in in the end, well, then, so be it!

Don't mind Rosa. She was just going to spend a little bit of time, while she was enjoying a small spot of cover in between trying to figure out who to try and shoot next, rolling some of the grenades into the anti-gravity spots and trying to get some good timing on them exploding at an optimal height.

Ideally, this will also get some idiot not paying enough attention splattered with paint, but, well, we'll see.

Goose did manage a bit better this week (well it wasn’t that hard to do really), even with anti-gravity involved, the fact that he had paint grenades made this challenge even better.

Alara managed to be okay up until she accidentally squashed the paint grenades and ended up getting paint all over herself and eliminating herself in the process.

Cara? Cara had learnt from last week, and boy was she having fun right now.
