2Paint2Ball, Monday - 4th Period

Well, it was Steve's birthday, so Tony was being kind and getting the first class of this session taken care of to give him a break before he'd be pulled into a number of parades for the holiday.

"Welcome back and welcome newcomers," Tony said brightly. "Today will be our first go at the more advanced level of paint ball. What does that entail? This week... we're going to try out zero gravity spots."

Because Tony had been allowed to test out ideas without Steve being there to supervise him.

The course was very much the same as the basic one from before with a number of places or hide or duck behind should the class need them. The only difference this time was that, scattered around, there were little pockets of weightlessness. Because that's just what you wanted on day one, right?

"No powers, sorry folks. That'll be for the end of the summer," Tony promised. "Now feel free to grab a suit to protect your clothing and a paintball gun to begin."

Oh, heck yes! Summer was so glad a random comment in a conversation convinced her to jump on into paintball, because anti-gravity was her jaaaaam!

And so was shooting things!

Honestly, it was a shocker she hadn't jumped in on this earlier.

And she was definitely going to focus in on certain people, don't mind her.

Blasters might still not be Lana's preferred weapon, but she felt she was getting better with these as time went on. And the zero-gravity didn't even much faze her.

She was a little disappointed Anakin wasn't here to target, though.

Okay, this was....admittedly something Rosa was going to need a moment to get used to, but she had to admit, kudos to Stark for throwing something different at them to get this session started.

She could probably get pretty good at this after a little bit of time, really.

The lack of Anakin was disappointing. Stark did have to take some time to decide who to target instead but this also meant Anakin wasn't targeting him so he had time to adjust and make some plans.

Maybe he'd shoot at Summer?

That would have been a totally fair choice, because Summer was definitely shooting at Stark.

He couldn't even be mad about it, since he was the whole reason she was here.

Making the most of the anit-grav with some entirely unnecessary flips while doing it, too.

Stark was not mad about it. Stark was pleased Summer was there (and that she'd come back from her space jaunt).

He had hit one weightless spot before finding decent cover and was now staying put and occasionally poking his head (and gun) out to fire.

Oh, so that was how he was going to play it, huh? That was fine. Summer was going to give a more gravity-influenced unnecessary roll toward some of her own cover, but she was keeping herself positioned over the top consistently, so that she was good and ready to fire the second she saw even a glint of a mask.

Well, Stark could take the mask off but that would be even more obvious of a target. He was just going to have to carefully peer out from where he was and fire again.

"Are you having fun?"

"Yes!" Summer answered, simply and truthfully, because she was getting to shoot at things and her life wasn't in danger (even if maybe her pride was), and if she wasn't having fun with that, then something was wrong.

"You?"

She did spare a moment to glance around at everyone else, trying to spot where the nearest weightless spot might to use in a...strategic fashion.

"Paintball is always fun, even if I can't shoot Anakin," Stark responded cheerfully, aiming at Summer's leg.

"I'm glad you came."

This was not something that Goose was used to at all and even while there was a zero g room at BETA, he didn't tend to use it all that much so he was a bit out of his element here and it wasn't long at all before he got himself eliminated.

This was something rather different for Alara to experience, since she was from a planet with one of the highest gravities in the galaxy and she hadn't really had much experience being without gravity, so it took her a while to get the hang of it but she was still quite pleased by how long she managed to last.

Yang had NEVER been in zero-g before. Ever. She was absolutely trained in how to make normal physics do what she wanted, but this?

Yang was deeply, deeply, out of her element, and it showed. But she was laughing hysterically the whole time as she got stuck in a zero-gravity spot right out of the gate.
