Unlike previous classes, this one wasn't outdoors, although the danger shop was done up to look exactly like the normal course. Because your teachers were crazy like that.

"Well, we've reached the last class of this session and we're so happy you've all been with us for it," Tony said brightly.

"We're also glad you got our ~~handwavy~~ message about bringing your own paintball gear and protective clothing," Steve added, giving McGarrett and all of his camo a definite side-eye.

"And, yes, this time we're allowing powers," Tony said. "Which is why we're in here. Don't injure your classmates, okay?"

Steve crossed his arms over his chest and nodded before pulling up his Captain America cowl and grinning. "We've installed some booby traps around the course, too."

"Just a few!" They were essentially paint tripwires. So. There was that.

"You planning to fly?" Steve asked Tony, grinning.

"A gentleman never tells, sweetheart," Tony replied. "Let's get started, shall we?"

Steve grinned even more widely. "Have fun, everyone."

Rosa had clearly taken that ~~handwavey~~ message very seriously. About damn time she got to put her own gear to some good use.

While he didnt have much in the way of gear beyond the basics he had to mess around with now and then, Billy brought what he had and was ready to give this his best go.

Stark did have his own paintball gun, but it was nothing particularly exciting. Stark did not have powers that were going to be useful here. Stark was just going to try and hide from Anakin and hope for the best.

Anakin could close his eyes and point to Stark anywhere on the island. (Creepy, but true.)

"Heads up!" he called out, trying to make this last more than a moment.

Very creepy, Anakin.

"No."

Stark was going to dive for cover. It probably wouldn't work but he'd try.

"It's no use hiding from me," Anakin said, sweeping towards him.

"Better than waiting out in the open," Stark called back.

He was doomed already and he knew it. Staying quiet wasn't going to help.

"It only delays the inevitable," Anakin said.

"Someone might hit you first."

They would not.

"While you're distracted."

"I'm not going to get distracted," Anakin said, smirking.

Stark could not see that smirk. Stark could hear that smirk though.

"You might. Maybe that was the plan!"

There was no plan. That would have required teaming up with someone else in the class and Stark usually forgot there was anyone here but Anakin.

"You don't have a plan," Anakin decided based on, well, several years of playing paintball together.

"I could!" Stark insisted from his spot that was not nearly as well- hidden as he might have hoped.

"Sometimes I do."

That plan was generally 'shoot Anakin.'

Anakin laughed. "So, what's the plan?"

"I'm not going to tell you," Stark protested.

Because there was no plan. Just a foolish hope he could out long enough for Anakin to be taken out by someone else.

"Because there's no plan," Anakin said, firing.

The shot was followed by a very exaggerated yelp from Stark. Yes, he was going to play this up. Of course.

Anakin was very, very sorry. You could tell by the giggle.

"I don't think it's funny," Stark grumbled, ineffectively brushing at the paint splatters as he stood back.

Steve took one look at how this melee would go and took his camouflaged self to protect Danny's six.

Anakin had his own, specially calibrated, paintball gun. Anakin had permission from his instructors to use the Force.

Anakin was having wonderful day.

Lana wasn't much of a blaster person and had none of her own equipment for this.

She probably could have used the Force, but...

Eh. She found a trap and set it off. "Oops."

Then she found a good place to sit and watch the carnage.

Before or after they're covered in paint.
