Underwater Basket Weaving and Other Aquatic Arts!; Tuesday, Fourth Period [06/14].
A forecast and presumed morning of thunderstorms did not bode well for water activities, especially when lead by someone particularly sensitive to lightning damage, and so class that day was going to be held inside the community center...in whichever room had the highest ceiling. There were crafting supplies set out on all the tables, and, most important, large baskets (woven, of course!) filled to the brim with a large assortment of seashells of all colors, sizes, and shapes. There were probably few rocks that managed to make their way in there, too, but it probably didn't take a terribly clever mind to predict what was about to come.
"Hello, my adventurous aquatic artists!" Sidon greeted them brightly. "This week, we're focusing more on the art aspect than the aquatic by making seashell art! Now, of course, the most rudimentary and basic approach to such art is merely arranging your shells in a fashion you find aesthetically pleasing on a sturdy surface, be it a canvas of sorts or a frame or perhaps you'd like to decorate a vase or bowl! Beautiful and practical! We have a good deal of supplies available to us, so please, feel free to let your mind run wild and free of the variety of possibilities in which your sea shell may take you!
"If you have questions or need help, by all means, do not hesitate to ask! And don't hesitate t help each other or work together, because Aquatic Arts can always be a team effort!"

"I certainly should hope," he commented, quietly, especially for him, as to not bring any undue attention to the situation, "that those are sobs of joy for how absolutely beautiful your frame is turning out, Liz! I daresay, it's one of the finest frames I have ever seen, and you're not even finished! I almost feel bad for whatever piece of art should be chosen to grace its interior, as it will likely be outshone by the marvelous frame that holds it!"

Sorry Sidon.

But he did smile a little more softly, kneeling down beside her to significantly reduce the levels of looming, and set a hopefully reassuring hand on her shoulder.
"I, too, sometimes cannot help but weep at such beauty," he told her quietly. "At times, one just needs to simply let it flow like the very waters from which such seashell came from. But if you do need anything, Liz, please do not hesitate to make such a request."

“I … thank you …” she said quietly, finally managing to be able to say something.

"Keep up the excellent work, Liz!" he declared, a little brighter and more in step with his usual encouraging tone and volume. "You can do it!"
And then she recieved a very timely text from Summer conveniently reminding her not to fall in love with any giant red sharkmen while she was at it, too
