Paintball!, Monday, June 6th, 2022

This week wasn't quite as miserably hot out for the class, so as a reward... it was teamwork time.

The set up was basically all the same, but this time there were what looked to be very large handcuffs to chain duos together. Because nothing said challenge quite like forced teamwork, right?

"Welcome back!" Tony said, definitely enjoying this plan more than he ought to. "We're switching some things up this week to make sure no one gets too complacent."

"You're going to work in pairs," Steve said, "and you'll be handcuffed together, so figure out which one of you shoots with which hand, or who's the better shot, and then lock your hands together."

"And if your partner goes down, they're now dead weight." Guys, no.

"It'll be fun!" Steve proclaimed overly optimistically. "Listen for your names and we'll give you some time to plan out your strategies:

Lana looked up (and up) at her partner. "Oh Force, you're as tall as Darth Marr. So we'll be ditching these handcuffs right off, won't we? Unless you'd rather I ride on your back."

That might also have its advantages, if they watched each other's backs.

“Well we could try that,” Goose considered, “I don’t have a preference to which hand I shoot from if that helps makes it any easier,” because he did know that his height did make this a bit more awkward than normal.

At least Goose had finally slept otherwise this could be a lot more of a disaster.

"I'm right-handed for the most part," Lana said. "Why don't we start out my left cuffed to your right, then, though hopefully I'll get us out quickly."

"We can try that, I also have my badge so I can tap into my Bio Defenses if you need additional help as well, they can pretty much adapt to any situation," Goose explained.

"Bio Defenses?" Lana asked.

“Basically I can adapt to any situation,”Goose explained, “like if I need to breath underwater I can tap my badge and I will have gills, I can’t choose exactly what I’ll transform into but it so far hasn’t let me down yet, the badge helps control it,”
