Yoga; Thursday, Third Period [06/02].

The forecast seemed to have called for 'moderate rain' that day, so Rosa considered moving class inside, but honestly? It was just a little water; it (probably) wasn't going to kill anyone. They were definitely still meeting on the beach.

"In yoga," she started, without preamble, to get right to it, "the element of water," see what she was doing here?, "is associated with the second Chakra, housed in the pelvis and hip area, and it's supposed to tap into our emotional bodies, honor our intuition, and follow our passions. Soft but strong movement, with a natural flow into each other. You know. Like water. So that's what we're working on today. We're still going to start with the sun salutation to warm us up, especially since we should all be more familiar with it now, and then we'll go over some poses connected to the water element and finish with a new sequence in line with the element.

"If there aren't any initial questions, then, we'll just get started."

Liz supposed one good thing about still being at Fandom was that she could still keep up with her classes and she was finding that yoga was actually keeping her calm and relaxed despite how uncertain everything was right now, so she was doing her best to stay focused on her warm ups.

Duke was fairly intent on his practice today. It was time, he'd decided, to get back to himself, and that meant throwing himself full force into some old habits. Even if they were being lead by someone he disliked on principle.

So he was here, leaning into his warm up, eyes closed, breathing calm and controlled. Any rain that fell was just going to add to his presence in the moment, dammit.
