Autolycus gives the exact same speech and shows the exact same video to the studio art class as the history of art class.

Interesting that.

Angel watches the movie with fondness. He likes the Met.

Parker wonders about this class sometimes. Although the Met is always interesting. "Hey. Didn't we see that when we were there?"

"Yup," Angel confirmed. "Not long after I gave you your present."

"Thought so." Parker grinned in appreciation, then cocked her head. "It's different with Muppets. More like Fandom, actually."

"More like the cafeteria," Angel said.

"Yes. If we moved the works of art into the cafeteria, this would be exactly the same." Parker watched Grover become SuperGrover. "And yet more similarities, with the costuming."

"Run into any platypi today?" Angel asked, since they were sort of on the subject. "After Campaigning I mean?"

"No, aside from the ones on the pogo sticks, I've been platypi-avoidant." Parker shook her head. "I did get to see some teal deer this weekend though. They do exist, as it turns out."

"Did you talk to them?"

"Better. I actually got photos of them." Parker pulled out her phone, flipped through the images, and brought up the one of the group of deer (http://mparker17.livejournal.com/38326.html?thread=866742#t866742).

Right before it, of course, was the one of Jarod with the little one (http://mparker17.livejournal.com/38326.html?thread=865974#t865974).

"Cute," Angel said. He had, of course, noticed the Jarod picture. He also had no idea what was going to happen to him with Callisto later that day, so it was with absolutely no sense of how much he was setting himself up karmically as he said, "So is that the boyfriend? The one I still need to shake down and make prove himself as a worthwhile human?"

Parker glowered at him, then defiantly went back to the picture. "Yes, this is the boyfriend. Notice how he's making like a Disney character, and feeding a teeny cute deer? Can you think of anything more harmless?"

Okay, she's exaggerating way way too much there.

Speeding up, Parker said, "We had a great weekend, I've known him forever, and the idea of you going all Spanish Inquisition on him makes me break out in hives. Drop it. Now." She might add a pleading look onto that, but that's entirely depending on your point of view.

Angel looked concerned. "What's up?"

"Nothing!" Parker got a grip on herself. "Really. I just... It's complicated. But I'm okay with that. And I don't want anything to mess this up while I've got it." Reviewing that statement, Parker looked away. "So, trust me when I say it's all good. Allright?"

Angel sighed. "Who do I beat up?"

Which was enough to make Parker *facepalm*, then sober. "Okay. We need to talk about this at some point when we're not in public. Because it's definitely not Jarod who needs to be beaten up. But if I'm not allowed to, neither are you, so... explanations later?"

"Long as it's actual explanations later and not an attempt to dodge," Angel said. "I can be stubborn when I want to."

Parker grimaced. "Crap. Okay. Explanations and that Delaware T-Shirt I promised you. At your convenience." After she'd talked to Jarod, and figured out what *not* to say about him, specifically.

"It's a deal."

This movie is on crack.

So Jaye kind of likes it.

D'anna finds the video a little weird but takes note of some of the details. Like, oh, I don't know, the strange new gods with glittery clothes with a side order of MEAN.

Stark was gleeful about the muppets in the movie. He liked muppets. Yay muppets!

Alanna stopped by after class, hoping to catch the teacher.

Autolycus looked up. "Yes, miss..?"

"Trebond." Alanna finished for him. "I'm one of the Junior Class reps and am currently in charge of the prom. Can your Studio Art class possibly paint some backgrounds for the photos?"

"Of course they can," Autolycus grinned. "Did you want any subject in particular?"

"Um...something sparkly? Uh...definetly a fairy tale castle like one? I'm not very artistic. Or creative. The theme is Lost Cities, so yes, that would be nice."

"I think we can manage that."

"Thank you, sir!"

"You're welcome, kid."
