"There's a common phrase," Shunsui greeted his collection of nappers without preamble or pretext that morning, as they met for their next slumbering adventure, "that says birds of a feather flock together, and I imagine that extends to napping together, too ♥. Now, as far as I can tell, none of us here today are birds...please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong ♥...but, today, we shall be sleeping like them ♥. Perhaps not exactly at such great heights as we did last week, of course...this one is more about style over anything else ♥."

And, with that, he invited them all to make their way through the portal, which would whisk them across the country to California, where their human nests awaited!

For the sake of convenience, this dimension's version of Big Sur's Human Nest at the Treebones Resort has several Nest to choose from. Take your pick, climb on in, and enjoy your nap and the view of the ocean!

"Zoooooounds!" Graham, wide-eyed, gaped at the Nests, clearly facing yet another class of being far too thrilled to nap. "These are amazing! Do you think actual birds used to live in these? Or gryphons? Great condors? Giant rocs?? HARPIES?!?!?"

How had Graham wound up on top of one of th÷ Nests, on his knees, arms lifted imploringly toward the sky? It was hard to tell, but there he was, and when he finished with his speculation, he took a hold of the edge of the opening to the Nest, flipped himself down in through it, and landed, sprawling happily with a sigh, looking up through the tangle of branches contentedly.

"I'm gonna pretend," he told no one in particular, wrapping his cloak around him, "I'm an egg."

"Awwww," Gray said as he inspected the nest. "It's not really big enough to take my wings out in, but I feel like I should have my wings out for the full experience."

On the other hand, it did look very cozy, and he was just...just gonna curl up for a little while...

The view was impressive and as amazing as that was, Kurt had been pushing himself a bit more than usual with his training sessions. So the idea of a nice extended nap did sound mighty tempting... especially with the cozy nest right there to enjoy.
