Cooperating with People you Hate, Friday 4th period

"Welcome back." Lana eyed them all. "Last week we got a taste of what everybody's inclinations were, so this week we're going to hopefully start overcoming them. The task is to get from here to there." She pointed at the far side of the Danger Shop, where there was a platform. "To get there, you will have to walk or pull each other across the rope bridge," which was over a pool of water, "then walk through the sand, which is a simulated mine field - you can see where the mines are from the other side. Then climb the wall or get pulled up to get to the platform."

She gave them - especially a few of you - a look. "Whoever has the most points at the end wins. You get five points for making it to the platform. You get another two points for each time you help another person. You get another point for every time you let someone help you. And if you pressed the red button last week, you're starting ten points down."

She crossed her arms. "Get started."

"Only using the freezer," Anakin said with a grin. "I have telekinetic and some telepathic abilities."

Anakin was maybe massively underselling his skills.

“Okay,” Will nodded, thinking that over. “So you could stabilize someone as they walked across that rope, then?”

"Or toss them over so they don't have to be on the rope at all," Anakin said, nodding.

“Probably faster,” Will had to admit. “But I’m not sure I’m up for being tossed, personally.” He’s a person, not a football, Anakin, omg.

Yeah, Will’s expression clearly said that he didn’t think he was missing out either.

Although… “Speaking of missing out,” he said slowly. “Do you happen to have any leftover shirts from this week?”

Will shrugged. “I have a friend,” he admitted. “Who likes that kind of stuff for some godforsaken reason.” Totes asking for a friend, here! Really!

Anakin was definitely putting air quotes around "friend" in his mind, yeah. "Sure. They're piling up a bit in my office, truthfully."
