The bit of a drop in the temperatures had Sidon thinking he should wait for a warmer day (for the sake of those less inclined to handle the chill of the water in May), and the light rain prevented him from at least one of his more landside activities, so that Tuesday morning, the students would find a tall pavilion set up on the beach and, underneath it, a few tables and chairs and lots and lots of buckets of shiny seashells, sparkling gemstones, beautiful beads, and plenty of cords, wires, and strings.

"Good morning, Aquatic Artistes!" he greeted them brightly from outside the pavilion to welcome and usher them all in to have a seat. "Today, we focus a little less on the Aquatic, and more on the arts! I don't know if you've noticed, but we Zora are very fond of our jewelry, and, while we mostly take our inspiration from the mountains and the architecture of our home, there is a great deal of beauty to be found in other offerings of the sea, such as these marvelous shells we have collected before us! Today, I'd like us all to create our own sea-shell-sensational accoutrements! You can, of course, let your imagination run wild and create whatever you'd like, but I will be going through a step-by-step on the basic instructions for a necklace to get us started.

"Make it for yourself! Make it for a friend! Make it for your roommate's mother's second half-cousin! Just as long as you make something and make it fun! Let us begin!"

The basic instructions are simple, but that, my friends, is only a jumping off point! Even as he explains how to craft just a simple necklace, Sidon emphasizes that this is but one possibility, and he encourages you to try all sorts of things. There's plenty of materials, after all!

Have a seat (or stand, if you're more inclined, as Sidon himself is), find some pretty materials, and get to work on your pretty new decorations! Materials are moddable, teamwork encouraged, and the only limit is your own imagination!

Was Liz now imagining Hellboy wearing a shell necklace? She was and that thought was rather amusing as she started to make one and she was also going to make something for Prompto as well since she was hopeful that it wouldn't be that long before she could finally see him again.

This was definitely an activity that Jo could enjoy and she decided to make her friend Deidre a shell necklace since she could show her that it was something that she did actually make in class.

Libby did arts and crafts like this with her little siblings all the time, although never with quite so many seashells and shiny gems! She almost felt a little bad taking some of the nicer ones, but she did think that she'd like to make necklaces for all her sisters and maybe bracelets for her brothers, and of course, something a little silly and ridiculous for Zo, so she set to work immediately, knowing that was a lot to fit into the time period, but she was ambitious like that.

And if she somehow managed to get through all of those, then she could also start thinking of making some for her friends here, too, like Vi and Jo and Kurt....

Kurt took a seat and started sorting through some of the shells, stones, and other items. He wanted to make a really nice necklace to send back home to Storm. He knew she liked jewelry made from bits of nature, specially local items that could tell a story and bring part of the local area with them in the process. She had several beautiful pieces of jewelry she wore all the time from her village. Kurt figured this could be something else she could wear now and then too. And... he thought with a bit of a mischievous grin... if there was time afterwards, maybe he would make a simple shell necklace to send back home for Logan. Imagining the look on his face was enough to make Kurt seriously consider it.

Hannibal had nobody he knew that would wear such a thing, but it was coming up on time for another charity donation, so it could go with that.

It meant he was being creative and using a slightly odd aesthetic for some of it, but it would definitely be interesting when he was done.

Given the nature of her piercings, it perhaps wasn't entirely a surprise that Vi skipped over the shells in favour of picking through the beads and stones until she found what she was looking for, then sat down with several lengths of cord and started braiding.

The claws definitely do make jewelry making a slightly different experience for Sidon than it may for others, but he's very good at threading things!

I'm very upset that the only pieces of Sidon merch I saw at the con I went to last weekend were one keychain and one fanon-accurate (*ahem*) body pillow...
