Today's campsite seemed remarkably free of barriers to hide behind--but full of tall things to climb.

"Today we're going to concentrate on sniping," Steve said cheerfully.

"So the paintball guns have a little better range and scopes on them this time around," Tony said. Because he tinkered. He was a tinkerer. "They won't always be like this, but it's always good to switch up your skills."

Especially since most of the class was creepily competent with weapons already.

"So today, a hit only counts if you've been sniped," Steve said. "No direct actions."

"Good luck!" Tony added, shouldering a paintball gun.

Well. At least this time Eliot was meant to hide in a tree.

Climbing with a paintball sniper gun was a bit . . . awkward, though.

Billy considered himself a fairly decent shot with a gun. One didn't survive a Zombie Apocalypse without good aim. However, he was not the best with a sniper gun... he was used to the more up close and personal shooting of a nice revolver or auto of some kind. But... this might not go too badly.

How was Lana supposed to do this without powers and without being able to use the Force to just explode paint on someone? Stealth and sniping were not her forte.

This was Steve's very favorite.

He was painting his face (just brought it with him, you know, in case) as he listened to the task and was up in a nest in a creepily quick amount of time for someone with no real superpowers.

He'd absolutely be sniping you, yes.

Stark could be patient. And opportunistic. And Stark could appreciate the amusement factor of taking out Steve. Even if Steve had helped with multiple raccoon problems at this point.

All was fair in paintball.

Anakin was not the best at stealthy. At all. But he did like cathartic destruction (and beating Stark) so he'd do his best here.

How someone who constantly wore black leather managed to make herself so unseen in the freaking woods was anyone's guess. Especially since Rosa definitely wasn't sharing her secrets, but she definitely was putting all those marksmanship awards to good use today, that was for sure.

Stark did better when he was less concerned with being ambushed and when he could take his time.

He'd picked out what seemed like a good spot, climbed up as quickly as he could, made himself into as small a target as possible, and then started taking aim.

He wanted to hit Anakin, of course. That was always the goal. Anyone else was just a bonus.

Why, that was Stark's very favorite sort of Anakin! How fortuitous.

He waited a moment, just to be sure this wasn't a trap, before squeezing the trigger and hoping for a very satisfying paint splatter between Anakin's shoulders.

Gray was going to be great at this! He was a stealthy, deadly warrior! He was...going to fall asleep as soon as he'd put the suit on, was what he was going to do.

This one proved to be a bit more of a challenge for Goose because it wasn't like he could be very stealthy and it wasn't long before he ended up getting hit.

Alara was a bit surprised by how well she was doing this week, especially since being stealthy had never been her strong point in the past but she seemed to be doing a lot better at it at the moment.

Yang was more of a short-range shotgun girl, her sister was the sniper, but that didn't mean she hadn't spent long hours alongside Ruby, helping her learn how to aim those trick shots and incredible distances.

And she didn't need her Semblance to take aim, and start taking people out. If anything, her Semblance was going to be a liability. If she didn't keep a cool head, her hiding place could literally go up in flames!
