Steve and Tony were back in the campsite, this time with a pile of grenades next to them. Steve grinned. "Tony got creative last week and made some really swell paint grenades!"

So this should go well.

"Sleep deprivation sometimes leads to creativity," Tony said, not mentioning the dozen other inventions that were decidedly not as useful as this.

Steve wouldn't mention those, either, because he was a very kind person.

"Today we're going to say no powers," Steve said. Sorry, Kitty.

"This is the honor system, but if anyone is caught cheating... Steve will give you a really disappointed look." Which was the worst punishment that Tony could come up with.

Steve laughed. "We trust you to make the right decisions."

Well, maybe not always.

Hiding in a tree had worked reasonably well last week. And this week, Eliot wasn't even supposed to use magic.

Anakin was not amazing at projectiles, but not terrible, either. He started running away from the cabin he'd hidden near last week so he wouldn't get predictable.

McGarrett was a tiny bit distracted as he figured out how these worked and more importantly, how he could get more.

Rosa was looking exceptionally smug about the no powers thing.

Surely, this would not come around and bite her in the ass.

She had to admit, though, these grenades were great.

Billy was trying his best, and utterly failing.... he was going to blame it on still being in a bit of a fog after spending a week as a cat. That was definitely the cause of him rather quickly getting splattered by a paint grenade going off at his feet.

Stark's aim with grenades was worse than his aim with a gun. He had practice with guns. Throwing grenades happened much less often than shooting things.

He was more focused on looking for a good place to take cover this week than somewhere he could hit others from easily. If a target happened to pass within range that was just a bonus.

Clearly Stark needed to find better cover next week. Maybe with something over his head to prevent grenades falling on him from above. Again.

Goose normally didn’t work with grenades, preferring to work with blasters instead but he found them quite easy to throw and was rather gleeful as he threw them.

Giving Goose grenades, even ones made of paint was a bad idea.

Alara went to throw the first grenade and accidentally crushed it before she even had a chance to release it and got paint all over her instead.

Steve came over after class, covered in paint and looking like a man on a mission. "Could I have the extra grenades for the Trooper Station, please?" he asked.
