Was there a reason the library had provided geometry books and romance novels today? Who could say?

Belle wasn't concerned with it. She was just sitting at the desk, happily reading and occasionally daydreaming about her suitors.

Which sent them careening into a book cart to continue this very manly fight that wouldn't end in anyone getting stabbed to death. Five.

"I love her more than you ever will!"

"That's not possible!" Harry cried, slapping Five and then slapping the book cart into a bookshelf, which wobbled precariously.

"Oh, stop" Belle cried out dramatically. "Don't hurt each other!"

Or the books.

Oh no, however could this go! She was never meant to see their rugged manliness.

"He doesn't deserve you!"

"No one can love you more than I can!" Harry said, abs glistening.

"Please don't fight," Belle begged. While still appreciating all the abs on display because damn, boys.

"I can't bear it!"

"Which of us will it be then?" Since clearly that was the only way to end this feud. And not cause an emo coma or something.

"I would never ask you to choose!" Harry said.

"I care for both of you," Belle insisted.

Especially when they were missing shirts and all glisten-y.

Five looked off. Broodily. Like, so broodily. It was intense and stuff.

"I'll bet he hadn't even offered to murder someone for you."

HOW WAS THAT ROMANTIC, FIVE? HOW?

FIVE! NO!

"I'm offering to treat you like a princess for the rest of your days!" Harry told her. "No murder needed!"

FIVE YES!

"What if I want both of those things?"

What? A girl could want someone who could do a murder and someone who would treat her like a princess.

Get you a man who can do both.

"Well, it's not like you can be with both of us at the same time!"

Unless...

Harry looked at him like he was considering it.

HE LOVED YOU THIS MUCH, BELLE.

"I could," Belle said stubbornly, gazing adoringly at all the abs still on display.

"You could?" Don't think he wouldn't be sexily planning to kill Harry to have her to himself, but... you know. This might work for now.

"If this is how I have to prove my love to you, by god, I will prove it."

He'd rather not! But like...

"I think it's an option worth...exploring."

Look. Belle read a lot. She'd gotten some ideas.

It was all those glistening abs, wasn't it?

"Fine. We'll... figure this out. In a calm, mature fashion," Five said, straightening his leather jacket. That he was still wearing, okay? "We'll take alternating days of the week."

That was the most Five thing (other than the offers of murder) he'd said all day!

"...Oh I thought it was all going to be everyone at the same time," Harry admitted.

Five's way was so much better!

No, Harry's way was better! Or maybe they needed to try both. For science.

"We could try both ways," Belle suggested, considering the possibilities. So many possibilities. Apparently all she read now was unrealistic smut.

"I... guess we could." Damn it, now he was distracted by those stupid abs too.

Harry sighed and started going for his belt, like slow down there cowboy.

BUT IT WAS FOR LOVE.

"Perhaps not here," Belle said quickly.

Although it was certainly an interesting thought and she had read books about very similar situations in libraries.
