Was there a reason the library had provided geometry books and romance novels today? Who could say?

Belle wasn't concerned with it. She was just sitting at the desk, happily reading and occasionally daydreaming about her suitors.

Of course Harry was here, right on time. He'd been dreaming all day about his time with Belle, and here he was, with a beautiful bouquet of whatever her favorite flowers were.

"Hello, Belle. I brought you something."

"Oh, those are lovely!" Belle exclaimed, beaming at him. "You're so thoughtful, Harry, thank you!"

"Beautiful flowers for a beautiful girl," he said, blushing a bit. It made his scar stand out more.

Belle was blushing as well. How could she not?

"You're so sweet," she sighed, darting a glance towards his scar then back to his eyes.

"I try to be my best god you," he said, romantically. And Britishly. "I hope you know that."

"Oh, I do!" Belle assured him, batting her eyelashes a bit. "And I do appreciate it!"

That sort of comment had earned Harry at least a kiss on the cheek, Belle thought.

That was only going to make him blush harder. And make him turn his head so that he could lovingly gaze into her lovely blue? orbs.

"Oh, Harry," Belle sighed, gazing back adoringly.

Well, who didn't like a good slow burn? Especially a slow burn that had mysteriously started today.

Belle leaned in as well, closing her eyes. More romantic that way, obviously.

Honestly this was the easiest girl-related thing Harry had managed, funny how that happened.

He was even going to slip an arm around her waist to pull her close all romantically for the kiss.

Romance hero, this one.

It was almost like someone out there just wanted Harry to have a good time.

Someone besides Belle, obviously, who gave a soft little sigh. Ah, sweet romance. A nice change from brooding bad boys, who certainly had their place.
