Was there a reason the library had provided geometry books and romance novels today? Who could say?

Belle wasn't concerned with it. She was just sitting at the desk, happily reading and occasionally daydreaming about her suitors.

"Leave. Me. Alone," Tahani was saying as she sped-walked into the library, a round, enthusiastic woman hot on her heels.

"Belle, Belle, I am used to the paparazzi but this is really getting rather ridiculous," she said. "I haven't even had my tea yet!"

"I just have a few questions for you!" Kara said, completely unable to read the room.

"I haven't got tea," Belle said apologetically. "But perhaps I could help with the questions?"

She was library staff, after all. She was excellent at research! When she wasn't too busy with her terribly full social calendar. But it was hardly her fault she had two adoring young men competing for her affections!

"Why are you here, Tahani?" Kara asked, frowning. "When your sister guest stars, she's just so much more dynamic and interesting than you."

"Oh, that was unkind," Belle said, frowning. "Tahani is terribly interesting!" And so pretty. Not that Belle noticed that too much. She was much too busy already with her two young men.

"Mmmm," Kara said, scrunching up her face. "Not as interesting as Kamilah, though."

And now Tahani was Kamilah.

Omg Kara you can't just recast people in the middle of a scene like that! Or maybe you can.

"Oh, Kamilah! When did you get here?"

"Oh, I've always been here," Kamilah said, leaning in to kiss Belle on each cheek because she was so terribly cool and so on.

Kamilah was so cool! Everyone thought so. Hopefully everyone didn't include Harry and Five though.

"Did you need help with anything today?"

"Oh, heavens no, podcasts are the new ebooks, which replaced books yonks ago," Kamilah said airily. "I have other things to do now! Ciao!"

And off Kamilah went.
