Aphra, it was sex pollen week, not idiot pollen. Even if it was hard to tell on occasion.

"Because sometimes your own worst enemy is yourself." That might be true for some people in this room. "Sometimes, mess up and you push everyone away and no one will take your calls anymore."

Then her comm unit crackled and a somewhat annoyed voice came out. "Flamingo Buffet? How did you even get the frequency to send me those pictures? Call me."

Aphra was already halfway out the door. "So think on that. You do like you? Or something."

Because that is in fact what just happened.

Vi was so very glad she'd taken time out of her first day of work around this class. So very glad.

This actually worked out very well for Libby, because she didn't need to feel bad about practically falling asleep where she sat instead of listening to the teacher if there was no teacher to listen to.

Because she was definitely dozing off a little, all thanks to a sleepless night of trying desperately to pray and reminding herself of helpful Bible verses in her head over increasingly invasive thoughts of an apparently potentially kissable roommate.

Who was also in this class.

The nap, at this point, truly felt like a much-earned blessing. At least until that REM cycle hit.

"Oh my Dark Gods, did she ACTUALLY just leave for a booty call?" Illyana groaned. "That's it, I'm out. I hate everything."

"Portal for Chilly Boulder leaving in 5, 4, 3, 2..."

Ice cream. So much nice, cold, ice cream. Illyana hated this week.

Is this better or worse than her turning into a tooka and vanishing into the vents.
