The school nurse comes by the classroom with a note from the FTEC which reads, "Kiki apologizes for missing class today, but she has been in the clinic all weekend due to a severe illness. She hopes to be in class on Wednesday."

Daniel nodded. "It does have it's bad points, yes. As we're the only two here today, do you wish to elaborate further?"

Blair drug his book out on his desk with a thump. "It says here that there are five different levels of the system: Brahman, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra, and Harijans. Within each of these categories are the actual "castes" or jatis within which people are born, marry, and die. They all have their own place among each other and accept that it is the way to keep society from disintegrating to chaos." Blair huffed and glared up at Daniel.

"Can you believe that? It has kept a sense of order, and peace among the people. That's horrible!"
