Guiding the Powerful Yet Incompetent, Monday, Fourth Period
The only reason Yennefer was not monstrously hungover for today's class was, well, magic. Also, that insulated travel cup on her desk definitely did not contain coffee, but what the students didn't know wouldn't hurt them.
"Your king has decided he needs a legacy," Yennefer drawled. "Something worth remembering. So he's going to rebuild the empire of old that collapsed several generations ago, starting with invading the neighbors, who surely still consider themselves to be citizens of...whatever this country is called," shit, she'd forgotten to name it. Or the king, for that matter, "and definitely not their own separate political entity with their own language, laws, customs, so on and so forth. Except of course, they don't. How shall you proceed?"
