There was nothing in the Danger Shop that could eat them.

Libby never had been very good at just sitting still and being patient, but at least she did have a lot of practice with it. Perhaps not nearly as much when she was also watching and listening very carefully for the first sign of something going wrong, of course, but if there was a reward for being able to just sit and wait something else, well, she was pretty sure she'd be a top contender.

Up until someone maybe coughed or dropped a pencil or something and she'd probably jump and almost let out a startled sound, anyway...
