fandomhigh | PE and Health Class - Friday

After the last few classes and all the progress that has been made, Dwight figured the kids deserved an easier day. And you know what? He probably deserved one too if anyone was to ask him. So the class today was fairly laid back and the setup was a bit unique as everyone gathered for the start of the class.

Both instructors stood in their normal spots, both looking quite relaxed and comfortable as they waited for everyone to gather.

"Last week," Gladio started, "was kind of a big one for some of you, and you guys did great with it. So this week, we're mixing it up a little and kind of letting you have fun and kind of do your own thing…but with these."

Gladio? Looking all too pleased with himself as he upended a box and sent a flood of the scooters onto the floor? Oh, yeah. This was going to be great.

"You all have been doing good with this class, putting in the effort, showing up, and giving it your best each time," Dwight said with a grin as he looked around at the class. "That has not gone unnoticed. You all earned a free day today!"

And that enthusiasm from his teaching buddy? Yeah, that earned a chuckle and a small smirk from Dwight who was also looking forward to a more laid-back and relaxed day. Yes, this was going to be a lot of fun. And who knew, maybe he and Gladio would break down and join in for some fun themselves. So yes, enjoy the sight of your two giant teachers trying to maneuver on these things!

"And," Gladio had to add, with another grin, as they started to wrap things up and send them off into scooter chaos, "in a way, this is kind of building up into next week, too, so keep that in mind."

"Alright then, let the fun begin," Dwight said as he gave the go-ahead and then gave Gladio a smirk.

Guillermo was absolutely having a blast with his scooter, even though he did keep stumbling a bit but he was more or less able to stay on it as he kept weaving in and out on it.

Actually he was a bit surprised that he was able to stay on it and not break it.

Josephine Jones

Jo had never ridden on anything quite like a scooter before and it took her a while before she felt brave enough to even try and step on it but at least it wasn't the pool so she was happy to try something else and hopefully not fall over again.

Well at least this time it wouldn't be because she had tripped over her skirt on the ice.

Troy Barnes

"That's the way!" Dwight called out encouragingly. "You're making it look easy!"

So easy in fact that Dwight was having a harder and harder time resisting the urge to risk his weight on one of those things to join in the fun!

"Doing good there Jo, slow and steady" Dwight said with a reassuring grin.

And with that, Dwight grabbed one of his own, put it on the ground and then did an impressive job of getting seated cross-legged on the scooter and then started scooting around himself, finally unable to just stand by and watch the fun.

Ohhhh, heck yes! These things were the best!

And this would be Troy, after scooting around a little on just one of them, now attempting to lie himself flat across three or four of them so that he could 'swim' across the gym floor.

Like the grown-up, responsible senior that he was!

Well, at least Dwight and Gladio weren't the biggest goofballs in the class today... yet.

"Got some made skills there, Troy!" Dwight said with an amused chuckle as he watched.
