History of Art / Studio Art Combined Studio | April 14, Periods 5&6

All the furniture in the room except for Autolycus's desk has vanished. The floor is covered in a single large canvas. Bottles, buckets, watering cans, waterpistols, balloons, and spray bottles filled with various hues and shades of paint, as well as surgical booties are randomly placed around the room.

"Today, kids, we're going to try action painting."

And none of you would even think of abusing the fact there are balloons and water pistols full of paint lying around, would you?

Angela put on a smock ~~if there are any in the classroom~~ before attacking the canvas with a water gun.

She's trying to draw a heart, and mostly failing. But the splotches are kind of pretty.

Angel had never tried this before but he'd been in a meditative place this week. He went for paint dribblings, Pollack-style.

Zero could get behind this method of creating art. She hefted a couple of paint balloons to test their weight before chucking them at the canvas. Whee!

Heh. Heh heh heh.

Barbossa picked up a water balloon and chucked it at the canvas, spattering red paint everywhere.

He could certainly understand certain ninjas' fascination with the things.

He looked around and waited for a viable target.

D'anna smirked a little and palmed a balloon and pistol or two.

She pointed a pistol at the canvas and landed a slash of teal across a corner. It wasn't what she was aiming for, but hey, only she knew that.

Isabel is attempting to create a tic-tac-toe board with a water gun, now she just needs someone to play with.

*splat* Parker puts a bit splat of green paint in the middle of the Tic-Tac-Toe. It could be an O. Probably.

*Splish* There's a bright red spot in the middle spot of the rightmost column.

*splup!*

A green at the top of the rightmost column, as Parker grins at Isabel.

*sloop*

And Isabel blocks it. "You do realize that this if futile don't you?"

[ooc: off to sleep. Sorry I missed you earlier]

Parker shrugged. "For the game, sure, for the art? Maybe not."

*swipppp!*

She grinned. "We could always try Hangman next."

[np! sleep well!]

Xander is... actually here. ~~And no longer in Thursday.~~ He also has a brightly-wrapped package in his hands. "Hey, you."

He looks dubiously at the water gun, considering the contents of the package. "Er. Birthday present? Just grabbed it out of the mail before class."

Within seconds, the gun was down, her hands were wiped, and she was eagerly ripping into te wrapping paper. "Thank you!" she exclaimed before the box was even opened. "You shouldn't have."

And then she held up the T-shirt and laughed. "Oh this is perfect! I love it!"

"Well, you know. I didn't need the reminder, but clearly other people should know."

Isabel grinned and pulled the T-shirt on over the shirt she was wearing. "What do you think?"

Xander grinned. "Looks good. Though I think it'll look less good if I...uh, I mean you get paint on it..."

He reached for a spray bottle of red paint, just by way of demonstration.

"Oh don't you dare. I'll turn all your clothes fuschia," Isabel said with a shake of her head. "And I don't that color works well with green."

"And I would care about that because why?" Xander looked innocent, for at least 3.5 seconds, before turning the spray bottle deliberately away from her. And, er, spraying it at someone wearing green.

Grinning, Stark picked up two waterguns, one for each hand, and aimed for the far corner of the canvas. Of course, he doesn't have the best aim in the world, so if he accidentally hit any other students it was entirely not his fault.

Parker took four paint brushes, rubber-banded them to her fists, then started hitting the wall. Pfuff pfuff pfuff puff splat!

Bridge takes a water pistol full of blue paint and a few water balloons filled with yellow and sets to work.

It's... entirely possibly that a sweeping spritz of red paint lands dangerously near his shoes. Also entirely possible that there is someone grinning and not looking incredibly guilty over the aforementioned.

"Eep!" Bridge says, startled.

"There is no eep," Xander says, mock-somber. "There is only art." He sprays the floor again, in a vague spirally shape.
