Introduction to Engineering - Wednesday, 3rd Period

“Welcome back,” Goose nodded once his class was seated and ready to begin that lesson, he was currently on day three of not being able to fall asleep and was starting to look rather tired at this point and was rather restless but he had actually managed to complete a lesson plan and was trying to stay focused on the lesson.

“Today we’re going to looking at aerospace engineering and aerodynamics and we’ll be looking at this unit for the last few weeks of the semester,” he explained and then began to provide an overview of aerospace engineering and aerodynamics

“This week we’re going to try something a little different for our practical and we’re going to experiment using paper planes to test how far you can propel them, we’ll look at how your designs can impact the distance of your plane,”

Jo could only follow ...not even half of that lecture but she was trying to take notes as best she could, even though most of them didn't make much sense to her.

There are several moddable different sheets of paper for you to design and then give them a try and see how they do.

Jo struggled a bit with folding the paper plane and her design ended up being rather basic so when she tested it, her's ended up not getting very far at all.

Troy considered himself a pretty good paper airplane maker, really, he had the cleanest lines, you'd better believe it, and sorry if he couldn't really help himself from singing the hook from "Paper Planes" as he worked, because, ummmmm....how could he not?

Even better when he made a small fleet of tiny paper planes so he could launch them in time with the gunshot parts.

Alara's first attempt at testing her paper plane ended up failing before it even started because she crushed her plane before she'd let go of it so she had to remake hers.

The second attempt went much better and hers actually went quite a bit of distance.

Jo had noticed that Mr. Gooseman looked rather tired so similar to Mr. Sims the other week, she thought she'd check and see if he was okay. It was rather intimidating to approach him.

"Um ... excuse me Mr. Gooseman?" she asked.

He was still not used to being referred to as 'Mr. Gooseman' even after several weeks of teaching, "yes Jo," he said with a tired smile, "what can I do for you?"

"I ...uh wanted to see if you were alright?" she asked, rather timidly, "you seem ..." she still didn't know if asking if someone was tired was rude, "uh...tired?"

Goose stared for a bit, he wasn't used to someone noticing, "um ... I'm fine, thank you, it's ...I'm ...it's from the weekend," he explained, "the caffeine and sugar should hopefully be gone in the next couple of days,"
