Roadblock: Go Karts!

Drive a go-kart along the old route of the Targa Florio auto race around Mount Pellegrino within 4 minutes and 7 seconds to receive the next clue! If you don't make the time, you have to follow a pace car back to the starting line and try again, about a 20-minute wait.

Nell kept having people get in her way and she was too polite to yell at them. So... it took a while. A long while.

Detour: Painters and Posers

In Painters, which only had 4 available stations, you travel to the Tonnara Florio, where you have to restore a fresco while lying on their backs on a high scaffolding, as Michelangelo did according to legend when painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, to the satisfaction of the restoration artist before receiving the next clue from a priest. In Posers, you travel to Teatro Politeama Garibaldi, where you watch a series of opera performers. You then head back stage, identify the costumes worn by the performers, and write down the characters' names and their operas in the order the performers were on stage by writing the answers in a playbook to receive their next clue from the costumista. So that'll take forever.
