Cupcake Skirmishes, Period 3, Friday 8/13
Friday meant cupcake class and that meant Stark was waiting in the Home Ec room once more for any students to arrive.
“Only one class left after this one,” Stark said. The second summer session had gone by so quickly. Maybe because he’d spent a good chunk of it in a hole?
“This week I was looking for something different and found lots of recipes with nuts in them. So I thought you could do that. Cupcakes with nuts.” He opened the box on the counter and started pulling out containers. “I have peanut butter and peanuts and Nutella and hazelnuts and walnuts and pecans and macadamia nuts and coconut. And everything else you might need for the recipes I have today.”

“I can help, if you need it. Or want it.” Even if he was a little preoccupied today with baking something of his own this week that wasn’t one of the provided recipes.

And, if she didn't, well, there was the proof in the cupcake that Vought finally managed to completely brainwash her, which part of Summer worried was only a matter of time sometimes....
Either way, though, she was definitely going with the butter pecan ones this time around, and she was going to be trolling the pantries for gold sparkle sprinkles, not only because she loved a theme, but she figured she should dress 'em up a bit more, considering the context.
