"Good morning," Ignis nodded to the class once it looked like everyone had arrived and looked ready at their cooking station to get started on another Friday morning of cooking and taking pictures. "In this class so far, we've been mostly doing main dishes, so today, we'll be mixing it up with a little bit of baking and making a dessert. It is a fairly simple one, I hope, and honestly a personal favorite of mine, and that would be a fluffy chiffon cake. Meanwhile, the cake itself, visually, is very basic. It's appearance is far more subtle than its flavors. Which means that you will all have the opportunity to get a little creative in your plating when we get to the photography part of things. I myself like to pair it with a small scoop of a simple, homemade whipped cream, which we will also go over how to make because it makes for an exceptional accompaniment, but, of course, you may pair it with whatever you like, suited to your own tastes or aesthetics."

He gave a small smile, before pushing up his glasses, adjusting the cuffs of his jacket.

"Now, then, if there aren't any questions, let's begin."

FLUFFY.

A recipe is provided with all the ingredients necessary at each cooking station, as usual, but Ignis will also be walking them through how to make the fluffy chiffon cake, with a little extra emphasis on explaining the careful chemistry that is baking and the importance of making sure everything is mixed and stirred with care to get the desired effect.

"On the bright side, though," he offered, looking terribly amused by what he considered a joke in this instance, "even if your fluffy chiffon cake is not nearly as fluffy as one might hope, there is very little chance that anyone would actually spot the difference in a well-arranged photograph."

Barring exceptions, of course, and he certainly would not be surprised if someone wound up proving him wrong on that fact.

"And now!" Prompto announced, once everyone's cakes were out of the ovens and it was time to get to plating. "The moment of truth! Time to really figure out how to make that fluff shine through in your pictures or, if you wound up with sort of more brick than fluff, how to disguise that so no one can probably tell! And, like the man said, the cake itself isn't very pretty to look at, so let's see what you can do to make it really stand out for the delicious treat that it is. I like to pair mine with some ice cream, so it's a good thing I've got a quick shutter finger, because that ice cream does not stand well under photography lights!"

If you listen to radio, you can ask them about their date!

Although Prompto really wants to know why the squirrels apparently don't think two grown ass men can go bowling together without it being a date!

While Ignis would supply that it wasn't exactly customary for one person to completely murder the other person (on the lanes, anyway, metaphorically speaking) on a date, but it took all kinds.

Really, Prompto, you should be far more embarrassed about that score than any implications about the evening proposed by rodents.

I am clearly only here for my own amusement.
