Bardic Inspiration - 5th Period - Thursday

Well, class today was via WebexTeamsZoom. So, hopefully the students (should they still be above ground) were prepared for that. And how the class log in didn't work right away, so the first ten minutes was just 'waiting for the host to grant you access' followed by a myriad of both video audio issues

"Can---hear---?" Jaskier said, cutting in and out of the feed as his image on screen froze in just a terrible look for him.

"No," Cara said, pressing the mute control. Purely by accident. It was what happened when you were typing in leather gloves. Really.

Jaskier's image unfroze as he squinted down at the school provided laptop for this. And was very clearly talking, but... you know. Muted and all. Very animated in his talking, even!

"Oh, how tragic." Cara sounded super upet too. "Welcome to what happens when you trust your co-teacher to submit the class." Jaskier should probably be glad Cara hadn't figured out filters yet.

Ohhh and he'd gotten the lute out and everything! Look at that lute on screen, folks!

Yes, look and be grateful you could hear him. "Apparently the point of this class is to teach you all to be highly annoying. Which seems to require something called badcore." Bardcore, Cara. Honestly it's like you weren't even trying.

Well, Jaskier was as he meticulously tried to both show and explain via the webcam how to play a specific cover of a song. Though the details were probably lost in the muting.

"Your time is probably better spent looking for dog videos instead." Cara.

RUDE, CARA. RUDE.

Sakaki had...mostly managed to figure this out, or so she thought, though she wasn't really sure because she couldn't hear the song being played, no matter how much she adjusted the volume--

--okay! Not a volume issue, she realized, when she flinched at the next sound that actually did come through and had to cover her ears, and then wondered if cat videos would be an acceptable substitute for dog videos? She was just generally too baffled by all of this to ask, really, and that said a lot because she was in Sam Eagle's class last session, sooooo....
