Wine "Tasting" and Drinking Games
Did Jessica know she forgot class last week? If she did she showed no sign of it. What she did show was a bottle of liquor that is for the heartiest of souls. There was also a ton of duct tape sitting on the bar as well.
"Tonight's wine choice isn't wine. but who the hell cares what this class is about now anyway?" Jessica began. "And yes. I've saved the worst for last. Malort is a wormwood liquor that tastes-"
She paused as she looked at the glass in front of her and frowned. She tossed it back, making a face and grunting in disgust.
"Ugh. Like damp socks after a heavy workout that were squeezed into a bottle and left to ferment in a warm closet."
She smacked her lips and made a face as the aftertaste kicked in.
"Also pencil shavings. And heartbreak. Any complaints about this alcohol can be made to Nick because he's from Chicago as is Malort so I'm just assuming it's his fault somehow."
She then took two shots of cheap bourbon to cleanse her palate.
"Tonight's game is White Staff. The goal here is to drink any beverage that comes in a can. Once you drink it you stack the can with the other and then tape together. First one to get to ten is that title the bearded guy inmeta Lord of the rings. Anyone else who reaches ten after them has to duel them – or essentially, whack their staffs together until one of them breaks – to fight them for the crown."
At which point she pulled out a plastic crown out from behind the bar and placed it next to the duct tape.
"Let's get this over with. No smacking the other player though because you'll get teleported and instantly lose."

And poured her a glass of seltzer to cleanse the palate and then a bourbon.
