"This week," Bob began, arguing with the Danger Shop, "we're doing...no, I said..." The room flickered through several backdrops, including stone walls, wood panelling, and bright wallpaper, "No, not that! We're working on..." It settled as a field, then glitched into a torrential downpour, "Stop that! We'll be doing..." There were sparks, and it settled into a pink padded floor with a wall full of mirrors, peppy music, and a perky woman with a big grin and bigger hair at the front dressed in a leotard and legwarmers.

Bob sighed. "I give up. We're doing jazzercise." He threw up his hands and waved them at it.

Well, Erin's cousin had gone through and extremely insane vigorous step aerobics phase, so Clare was practically an expert at jazzercise!

In that she knew, vaguely, how to do it.

Lydia was totally here. She was both kind of into the size of the hair involved here -- like, that was some volume -- and also deeply not into the jazzercise of it all.

Bob, exasperated (and not particularly caring whether any of them were doing the exercises), grimaced at her. "I don't suppose you can get this room to listen to you? For next week, if not for now."

None of Bob's owners had been particularly interested in it, so it wasn't as though he knew any better. Fortunately, he also had little interest in policing what the students were doing, and was more concerned with being generally supportive.

"Well done," he told her, trying to sound enthusiastic. "Go for it."

"I mean, I can try," Lydia said agreeably, eyeing the controls. "I don't know if I'm going to have any better luck than you, but we might as well see if it likes me better?"

Though she might just program it to do jazzercise again for the hell of it, honestly.
