"Wine" Tasting and Drinking Games

Anyone showing up for class today would notice some ominous bottles filled with clear greenish liquid sitting on the bar.

"So. Today's wine choice is absinthe," Jessica began. "And yeah, I know. It's not wine. Whatever. We're fucking drinking it."

She pulled off the cap and started to pour a glass for everyone. "The taste profile is that shitty black jelly bean you accidentally ate with a hint of dusty herbs that someone keeps in their pantry but only break it out during thanksgiving dinner so they don't really taste like they should."

"Oh and supposedly it's supposed to make you hallucinate but I guess that's a bullshit urban myth. So if you start seeing fairies or whatever then they're probably real. As for tonight's drinking game we're all going to pretend we're at some teenager sleepover and play truth or dare."

Because the combination of absinthe and truth and dare is a chemical reaction that Jessica wanted to see happen.

"Let's start shall we?"

"Not even a little bit," Duke said cheerfully. "But maybe if you hum a few bars?"

He would make a total ass out of himself improvising, yes.

"Hmm, alright, I think I can come up with something." He strummed a few notes idly, then found a tune. After a brief instrumental intro, he started singing.

"Zankoku na tenshi no you ni
Shounen yo, shinwa ni nare..."

Well, it was hardly Shunsui's preferred serenade in the form of a shamisen and his head in the lap of the beautiful Zanpakutō, but he certainly wouldn't begrudge an excellent performance based on just that, unfamiliar with the song but unable to help an appreciative laugh at the Japanese.

"A shame," he said, lifting a cup in a toast, "it was destined to be so brief ♥. Well done, Duke-san. Consider me sufficiently serenaded ♥."

Normally he would watch for the potential train wreck factor and all, but this was when drunk ass Nick actually looked up at the stage for the first time in six damn months.

And so instead he kept looking back at everyone else with an incredibly quiet, low-pitched "ahhhhhh" noise because was anyone else seeing the band?
