Fandom Gladiators; Thursday, Fourth Period [06/10].
While Rosa had a deep love and appreciation for all the dumb Gladiator activities that this class foisted upon her hapless students, there was one among them all that, for her, was the quintesential Gladiator challenge that no session of FG would be complete without and was just more proof that the whole idea for this class came to her one day probably when she was cleaning out her ears.
That's right. The arena had sets of raised platforms positioned close to each other, there were large weapons with foam at the ends that in no way resembled a giant Q-tip, really!, and even Rosa herself was padded up as she leaned on one of them and waited for everyone to arrive.
It was time for the Joust.
"This," Rosa held up her weapon, "is a pugil stick. That," she pointed the stick at the platforms, "is our battle ground. This," she indicated the arena as a whole, "is the Joust. The rules are simple: each gladiator take a platform and one of these sticks, and the goal is knock the gladiator on the other platform off. Simple, right? We're doing it tournament-style, and since there's an uneven number, I'll be participating as well. Go down the bracket and see who's the last gladiator standing. Any questions before we begin?"
If there were, she hoped they were short, because they were clearly wasting good beat-down time just standing around.

Final Battle: Cap v the Beast - Gladiators, 06/10.
But in the end, it's Cap who wins it all, having successfully managed to beat down a bunch of literal children with large sticks.
America!

So. Expect angry letters from Avengers soon.
