"Good mooooorning, everyone!" A week off of her culinary bullshit meant that Summer was particularly excited to get back on her horrible, horrifying hype train, glad to be back at the scene of the crime(s) and eager to unleash more mind-boggling recipes on her unwitting (but not entirely unwilling, most of you knew exactly what you were signing up for) students. "Sorry about last week; I was definitely not in a state to even eat normal food, much less deal with anything we'd do in this class, but Prompto sent pics and vids, and I think you guys did a pretty good job. So we're going to take things a little light this week."

Please keep in mind that Summer had lost all sense of perspective when it came to these things, and what she considered 'light' might be entirely out of alignment with what any normal person would. They might not be that bad. They might be far worse than she could ever imagine. She just had no fucking clue anymore, when you got right down to it.

"Mostly, then, this week we'll be focusing on three recipes that emphasis some truly...unique presentations. We'll be starting with a nice, refreshing deviled lettuce, our main event will be utilizing these awesome fish molds we have to make a lovely seafood mousse, and we'll be finishing it all off with a personal favorite and staple in these classes, the liver sausage pineapple."

At one point, this class might as well be 'Summer pulls random foods out of a hat and puts them together.'

"Alright! Let's get started!"

As usual, you can follow along as Summer presents the recipes, or, as she suspects usually happens, just sort of gawk at her as she walks everyone through them and then shake your head as you make your way through them yourself.

"And just imagine!" Summer said at one point with the deviled lettuce, which enhanced its mayonaisse with plenty of cream cheese, too! "Of all the things you can stuff into heads of lettuce now!"

And of course she was going to fully encourage everyone to get particularly creative in the decoration of their fish made of mousse.

While the last one was really just iconic and no summer session would be complete without making it at least once, really.

So, how did you do? And more importantly, are you actually going to try what you (or others!) made to pass judgement on whether or not these dishes deserve to be brought back into the popular culinary culture or if we should curse the internet for inspiring impressionable young people to keep dredging them up to inflict on the world time and time again?

Now that she's managed to injest a worrisome amount of space jet fuel, pretty much everything seems kind of tame.

The first recipe was more odd than anything else. It only went downhill from there.

Stark wasn't quite gawking at Summer but he was shaking his head and muttering "why" to himself as he worked on the recipes. Especially the fish and the pineapple.

I feel like the pineapple needs a tiny SpongeBob to go with it.

Ohmygod, a little Spongebob made out of a Rice Krispie treat! =D

Well that was horrifying.

This got me on a kick at the Gallery of Regrettable Food. I needed that laugh. :)

"The fish keeps starin' at me," Clare said, decidedly unhappy. "I feel like I should call for a priest and an exorcism."

"Do you think it would help?" Stark asked. "It wouldn't hurt."

He wasn't a priest but maybe he'd do in this instance?

"It's really disconcerting," Clare said, poking at its creepy little face.

"It is," Stark agreed. "It probably doesn't need the face. No. It definitely doesn't need the face. Too late."

"No food need faces," Clare said firmly.

"It doesn't need this sort of face." It could have had a cute face! But no. No, it had to look like this.

"The pineapple may be worse. Somehow." But at least it wasn't looking at anyone?

"The pineapple is upsetting on many, many levels," Clare said.

"Agreed." Stark nodded. "Very much so. The lettuce seems fine. Mostly."

"I'm not sure we were really missing devilled lettuce on like, a culinary level? Or any level at all?" Clare said. "But it's much less scary than the other two."

"Much less scary. Though I don't suppose that's hard."

He probably shouldn't have said that. Summer might take it as some sort of challenge.

"It really isn't," Clare said. "This class is expanding my knowledge of food in a way I never realized I didn't want. At all."

"You should see the jello shots Summer makes," Stark said. "Or...maybe not. Some of them are horrifying. Not all them. Most of them are fine."

"My friend Michelle would try every single one of them but she has a wee problem with vodka," Clare said.

"There have been shrimp ones," Stark said warningly. "And worse. Tuna and pulled pork."

Clare made a face. "Together?" she asked, looking scared.

"Together," Stark confirmed with a very sad nod.

"That's so tragic," Clare said with great feeling.

"It was!" And it had been all Stark's fault for mentioning those two foods in the same sentence the previous day. That just made it worse.

"Did you try it?"
