"Welcome back." Hannibal nodded to the class. "Today we'll be heading to yet another continent on Earth - Asia. Specifically, to Singapore, an island country off the coast. It is another crossroads of culture, having been settled or a colony for much of its history. These days, there remain many different ethnicities and cultures in the country. We will be visiting Labyrinth, a restaurant begun by chef LG Han to pay tribute to traditional varieties of food as well as new explorations. They also make every attempt to use local and sustainable ingredients."

He led them through the portal and into an airy mall, well-lit by skylights through which the sun was just setting. "The food here is beautiful as well as delicious, so it should be a feast for many senses." He highly approved. "There is a tasting menu, which I recommend. English is one of the national languages, so you should have no problem."

Nell was greatly enjoying this class and the amazingly different foods she was getting to try. She made sure to ask the server how to say 'thank you' in their native language and carefully repeated it to make sure she had it right.
