Well, Din didn't feel personally attacked, but he also didn't think that whole code thing sounded like something he wanted for the kid. Because it was kind... you know...oppressive? And this was coming from someone who would be called a Child of the Watch in the future.

At least the whole sparring thing made sense to him.
