With god as his witness, Nick thought he was teaching Creative Writing 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Which was why he was a couple minutes late for class, and shoved in through the door by a pair of moose antlers while he yelled, "I am not an angry enough person for this!"

How the moose slammed the door after him was going to remain a mystery.

"Right. So. What's up, I thought I was teaching something not Anger Management. So this is fun for me right this second," he said. "So why not start with introductions. Tell me your name and what's pissing you off right now. I'll start. I'm Nick, and moose antlers hurt. I have no other class planned."

"Emily Goldfinch," said Rosa, even though, yes, she realized there was a roster and that was not her name nor was that name on it even in the slightest. She was using it on principle alone. "And I'm pissed off that someone thought it would be funny to sign me up for an anger management class."

Which she could have very easily not have gone to, but she was kind of hoping whoever that person was was here so that she could punch them in the throat.

And then there you had it. That was the class. Anger managed. The end.

There was a moment where it looked like Nick didn't recognize the name, then decided he didn't care enough to check.

"Is it better if you get to smash stuff?"

Rosa just looked at him like she couldn't understand how that was even a question someone had to ask.

"Everything is better if you get to smash stuff."

"Malia Tate," Malia said. This was her first class in eight years. She was unamused. "And I think I'm with Emily over there. Also, telling me not to eat people's pets like I can't figure that out for myself is rude."

"Yeah, that's just common sense," Nick said, with a tilt of his head.

"Right," Malia said. "I'm not even a coyote anymore."

Miles slowly slunk under his desk. No reason.

"Yang Xiao Long," Yang said dryly. And since she was wearing a tank-top, she just held up her metal arm, and then disengaged it to hold it in her remaining biological hand.

"My superpower is influenced by my anger, and I lost my arm last year in a terrorist attack. I have some impulse control problems."

“Uh. Hi, I’m Miles. I’m not really angry? Or get angry? Well, I did and ended up capturing a mob boss but since then I’ve been pretty chill. So... I don’t know why I’m here.”
