Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I
As was usually the case with these things, good weather was once more blessing the gathering of Fandom folk new and old. There was a bonfire, but it was mostly for decoration. And for s'mores, the makings of which were available at one of the nearby tables.
There was plenty of food, and there were tables and chairs set up all across the lawn (with light dustings of glitter where you least suspected it, naturally), and everything was ready for another welcome picnic!
[OCD up! This is part one of the picnic, specifically for meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic is happening here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

And, with that, she turned to go...expect, you know, not, because, lol, no.
"JK. I mean, obviously, we have a little bit more ground to cover here."
Which was why her phone was already out and she was pulling up the summer schedule.
"So, let's see," she said, scrolling a little. "Okay, there it is. Look like it's the Bounty Hunting class, with Valentine. Faye? That's awesome, I actually signed up for that, so I'm literally going to be there for it. Wait, so if you didn't know about the class, I wonder if she does, too?"
She snorted.
"You don't think she set it all up herself, do you?"
She honestly could not decide what was better: them both being clueless at the hands of the moose, or just him being clueless at the hands of Fay(t)e.

Unless it was a long con to try getting his helmet off? Possible.
Re: Meet Your Teachers [Summer 2021]
Hat. On. A. HAT.
Anyway, narrative ramblings aside, she gave him a faint smile.
"I am really looking forward to this class now," she assured him. "Anyway, so, now that we know you're teaching, do you have any questions for me? Anything you might need help with? That's kind of what I'm here for. At least I don't need to break you in any like a real newbie, although this is a good lesson on how you really can't trust that moose in the office."

If not, she would be soon!

Summer's expression winced a little doubtfully. She...did not have confidence in that prospect at the moment, really. But honestly? She actually was now hoping Faye didn't know, because she loved her a good disaster train wreck of a class sometimes.
"I guess we'll find out," she said. And maybe shifted gears slightly.
"So! Bounty hunting, huh?"
