So we have fish and cats and dogs and bunnies and lemurs and all manner of animal companions. Is it human nature or social conditioning...or is it some kind of mental illness, that makes us talk to beings that can't communicate back?

Phoebe looked down at her paper and then looked over to where Cole usually sat. She looked pretty haggard and when she shook her head, she lost focus on her notebook.

Think, Phoebe. Before all of this happened... what was the assignment that you were working on?

A tear dropped down on her notebook and she angrily wiped it away.

She couldn't remember... and that was not a fun feeling... especially since she had worked so much in this class and was good... mostly because of her tutoring.

Phoebe looked up at CJ and her eyes were full of tears. "With everything that's happened with Cole... I can't remember what my assignment was."

"Oh, sweetie. It's the commencement speech. What you've learned at Fandom High besides your schoolwork. But Phoebe, I think you need a mental health day. Why don't you free write? Get this stuff that's troubling you out and I'll see what I can do, all right?"
